Peek-A-Boo

So, I decided to try blogging.... again. This time, however, it's about my photography. I'd like to post a picture (or more) every day- if I can- or at least how often as I can. Perhaps it will help me see what I'm doing and improve it, at the least it can help me stay motivated to find new pictures.

Well, today my motivation was spying the new 'kittens' that's living around our yard. New cats aren't unusual- my mother in law keeps them around and continues to feed them, and they breed. Most of the time I don't keep track of the babies because they come and go. Most of the time you can't even find the babies after they're born until they start wondering around as this one (and it's sibling/s) have begun to do. It caught my attention because of how stinking CUTE it was.
This baby is one of the playful/bouncing ones- the kind that would probably roll on it's back and attack your fingers if you waggled them above its head. It also looks like the baby of one of the previous kittens I tried to catch to bring inside and keep.. a cat I named Kabootsie when it was a kitten. If this isn't Kabootsie's baby, it has to be from Kabootsie's littermate. I'm still determined not to have a cat in the house- been there and done that, but occasionally a playful adorable one pops up and I just can't help my delight! So, here is my motivation- what shall I name this fuzz butt? I have to beat a name for it before my  mother in law comes up with something ridiculous! Maybe Eclipse, for the black on top, and white under-body.

I wish it would let me close, but as you can tell, it's fearful of people already, and likes to play peek-a-boo... pretty much the problem I had when I tried to capture Kabootsie to make as a pet, who to this day still refuses to allow anyone close.
